Gloomy Meeting...

A meeting was called the other day to all monthlies and confidential employees in the office of the manufacturing manager.

Everybody's filled with excitement, some thought it was about the bonus for the coming season.

The room became silent when he started to speak......"Id like to announce my resignation due to opportunity abroad. I'll be here till the end of the month. Thank you very much for all of your support during my tenure."

Excitement was replaced by sudden gloom and silence from everyone.

The Manager's grumbling voice and reddening eyes were expressive of emotions being tightly held back as he announce the last personnel movements he made.

Although, startled, one of the guys voice out his thanks for all the consideration he made and things he taught us.

His answer wa simple but left an echo in my head...."Wala yun, basta galingan nyo lang ang trabaho ninyo, di na kailangan ang pasasalamat, sapat na yon."

Quite a guy. A good guy who knows how to put pressure and tap your shoulder as well.

'Hope someday we'll share laughters and strategy again Sir Ed. Godspeed!

This is the time when I cannot describe my feelings. Random and mixed emotions with sadness having the edge somehow.

And I have too many why's about his decision to resign, but hey!.., it's his decision. I'll just treasure the knowlwedge imparted.

"All things work together for good..." I just said to myself.

Verse-Meal
Proverbs 22:1
A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.

Take it easy friend. Just like what Rachel said, people come and people go.

Always look at the bright sight as we walk by faith and not by sight! There is a purpose in everything.

Jun,
Hindi ba member ng Pinoyz2nz si boss. he he he

Kidding aside, Sir Ed seems to be a good leader para malungkot kayong lahat sa pag-alis nya. I wish all the best for him and for you that he'll be leaving behind.
