Emergency Week..

Whew!…it’s quite a disturbing week and hopefully the circumstances won’t extend anymore.
Last week my wife complain about chest pains due to her diagnosed mitral valve prolapse that seems to be bothering her frequently for the past days. As we went to our company doctor, he promptly refers us to a specialist to ensure an accurate diagnosis. The specialist prescribed a medicine in which our company doctor reluctantly agree. (I noticed). After taking the medicine for a day or two, I noticed that my wife is complaining more frequent chest pains and shortness of breath. I immediately relayed it to our company doctor and he told me to stop the prescribed medicine at once. It turn out that the said specialist had somewhat made an error in his diagnosis (based from what had transpired) because he prescribed a medicine that will decrease the heart rate of my wife which is contrary to the result of the 2D Echo we took, that shows a low heart rate count. Kaya pala parang humahabol ng hangin ang asawa ko at sobrang baba ng blood pressure nya. ( that’s why my wife is having a hard time breathing and has a low blood pressure as well). Grrrrr! My wife’s heart nearly stopped beating due to this. My God! And I’m praying for more patience and understanding right that moment because I can sense that my BP is fast rising due to this. Praise God that damage is only minimal, just the expenses and not my wife’s life. God Is Soo Good!

A day later my youngest daughter got an on & off fever ranging from 38 – 40 degrees centigrade, We’ve given her paracetamol but fever persisted after approximately four hours, so we decided to confine her to hospital for a round o' clock observation. I asked for an economy room and they told me that it is being prepared. After a while the guy went back to say that no economy room is available. So I asked for the next type but still none accordingly. I find it strange somehow that the hospital is obviously leading (manipulating) me to get a room with a higher rate, because I later found out that there’s plenty of vacant room upstairs, kaya pala walang nagpapa-confine don eh, sobra ng mahal maningil nagmimilit pa ng room na mahal. (so that’s the reason why very few want to be admitted there, not only because of skyrocket charges but also the manipulation being practiced.) I threw a convicting and piercing look to the guy who says there is no cheaper room available. I just let it go and shifted my attention to my ailing baby before my BP rise and eventual unwanted sitaution could erupt. Thanks goodness I have my insurance ready for this kind of situation.

Well, I really don’t know why my Lord allowed it to happen but indeed, and I honestly believe that it’s for my moulding…..for there are blessings in trials and trials in blessings, whatever it maybe…….God is good! And that’s all the time!

Have a blessed day…..

No one who practices deceit will dwell in my house; no one who speaks falsely will stand in my presence.(NIV)

felix, that a malpractice. they can be sued for that. ang hirap nga lang sa Pinas. mababaon ka lang sa expenses pursuing a case like this kasi walang ngipin ang batas.

ang mga hospital ngayon ang goal e kumita hindi magligtas ng buhay.

good thing, your wife and the baby is safe.

Hello! Can I link you up?
And about that mitral valve prolapse, I also have one. That was why I was not able to land in the industrial setting, like PLDT and Meralco when I was younger for I failed sa medical. Anyway, tell your wife not to worry for here in Singapore that is nothing. I mean, you don't need to be bothered by that.Doctors found out that you can lead a normal life with that.
God bless to you and your family.
